Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 15, 2026
This policy explains how Parker Beaumont ("we") handles information when you use Totage.
Information Totage handles
Totage stores inventory information you provide, such as locations, containers, items, values, notes, identifiers, and photos. If you create an account, we also process account identifiers, email address, family membership, and synchronization records. Authentication and synchronized data are provided through Supabase.
Camera, photo-library, Bluetooth and Face ID access are used only when you choose features that require them. Face ID authentication is performed by the operating system; Totage does not receive your biometric data. A user-supplied OpenAI API key is stored in the device Keychain. When you invoke an AI feature, selected images and prompts are sent directly to OpenAI using that key.
Advertising and consent
Totage displays ads supplied by Google AdMob. Google may process device information, advertising identifiers, IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), diagnostic information, and interactions with ads for advertising and analytics. With your tracking permission, advertising data may be combined with information from other companies’ apps and websites to personalize and measure ads. Starting with iOS version 1.0 build 6, Totage requests Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission before starting Google Mobile Ads or requesting ads, in addition to Google’s regional consent flow. If tracking permission is declined or restricted, Totage does not request ads; inventory and printing remain available. You can revisit privacy choices from the app settings when that option is required and available.
How information is used
We use information to provide authentication, synchronization, family sharing, inventory management, printing and scanning, support, security, and app improvement. We do not sell your inventory contents or photos.
Sharing
Information is shared only as needed with service providers that operate Totage, including Supabase, Google AdMob, Apple authentication services, and OpenAI when you explicitly use an AI feature. Inventory shared with a Totage family is visible to authorized members of that family.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Synchronized account data remains while your account is active or as required for security and legal obligations. You may request account and synchronized-data deletion through Totage's account settings or by contacting us.
Children
Totage is not directed to children under 13. Family members should be added and supervised by an adult account owner.
Security and choices
We use reasonable safeguards, but no networked system can guarantee absolute security. You may decline optional device permissions, though related features will not work. Your device settings may also limit advertising tracking.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to webmaster@parkerbeaumont.com.
